FAQS

Can you provide food?

You can "add on" a charcuterie board for your group, and sparkling water is complimentary. You can also add on sweet treats for your event.

If booking a tea party themed picnic - tea, sweet treats, pastries, and sugar will be provided.

What are our food recommendations?

We have a few great restaurants we recommend, but orders will require your pick up.

What locations can we have a picnic in?

Private Airbnb's or backyards are ideal for picnics and can help ensure privacy.

We have a few favorite public park locations throughout the valley, and have specific areas where we aim to set up. We take into account the most ideal views surrounding the picnic.

Palm Springs: Ruth Hardy Park, Mountain Gate Park
Rancho Mirage: Michael S. Wolfson Park
Palm Desert: Civic Center Park, Ironwood Park

We require a picnic location to be within 40 yds of vehicle access.

Rain Cancellation

Cancelation and Retainer: Any cancellation will result in the loss of 50% non-refundable retainer fee. Aurora Designs & Events will apply the client's 50% non-refundable retainer towards a rescheduled Picnic if it's within 6 months of the original Picnic Date.

In the event of rain, the Client has up to 4 hours before the scheduled Picnic to decide whether to make a alternate arrangements at an indoor location or reschedule the event. The Client is responsible for arranging an alternative indoor location in the case of rain. If the Picnic is cancelled due to rain, the Client can arrange to pick up their florals.

The 50 % retainer will not be applied to floral arrangements for the rescheduled picnic. If preferred, floral arrangements will need to be repurchased separately.

Refund Policy

Aurora Deigns & Events will refund 50% of the Picnic payment if the cancellation occurs at least 4 hours prior to the Picnic Start Time.

If Aurora Designs & Events is NOT notified of cancellation, intent to rescheduling, or change in venue in a minimum of 4 hours before the Picnic Start Time, no refunds of any kind will be provided.
